The legendary Amor, died 17 May 2013 at the ripe old age of 32. Five days before Amor died, his mate Kizzy gave birth to strapping twin boys, Rees and Amor Jr. The day before the births, Amor had been free-ranging in the beautiful peak of springtime forest of NHE 6 (Kizzy was kept in the building pre-delivery) with his sons Albert and Saunders (twins born June, 2013), Magellan (born May, 2010) and Eros Jr (born May 2009). He was a great lemur, one of the heroes of the Lemur Center, and he will be missed!
